Going from any hard-tail mountain bike to a full-suspension mountain bike can be fun, but what about fit and cost? The Liv Embolden 2 has the answers!

The Embolden is a new line from Liv that brings refined suspension and high value to off-road riding. The Embolden line also fits women well, making it an excellent choice for riders looking for more comfort. Starting with an ALUXX-grade aluminum frame, the Embolden 2 starts with a chassis that has a light and nimble feel. A tapered OverDrive head tube eliminates any rubbery feel in high-speed corners. Giant's FlexPoint rear suspension technology helps keep the rear wheel on the ground with 120mm of travel, ensuring confident control in rock gardens and technical sections. An air-adjustable RockShox Monarch R rear shock ensures excellent adjustability for a wider range of riders sizes and weights. The RockShox 30 Gold Solo Air suspension fork brings air-adjustability to the front end of the Embolden 2, giving the bike a nimble feel while soaking up rough trails. Need a small standover height? The Extra-Small Embolden 2 has a standover height of only 27.2"!

With such an excellent frame and fork, the rest of the Embolden 2 needed to be just as good. Shimano's 9-speed Alivio shifters operate a pair of Shimano Deore derailleurs, bringing durability and an at-your-fingertips feel. An FSA Comet 24/38T crankset and 12-36T Shimano cassette offer a wide gearing range for challenging terrain. Giant's alloy double-wall 27.5" wheels are shod with 2.25"-wide knobby Maxxis Ardent tires for excellent grip, even in messy conditions. Helping to reign in speed is the job of Shimano's M315 hydraulic disc brakes. Stopping power is excellent with disc brakes, rain or shine. A Giant Connect alloy handlebar and Liv Connect saddle complete this high-value trail conquerer.
