Going from any hard-tail mountain bike to a full-suspension mountain bike can be fun, but what about fit and cost? The Liv Embolden 2 has the right answers!

Liv's Embolden brings refined suspension and high value to off-road riding. The Embolden 2 fits female riders well, making it an excellent choice for riders looking for a better posture when tackling technical trails. Built around an ALUXX-grade aluminum frame, the new Embolden 2 starts with a chassis that has a light and nimble feel. A tapered OverDrive head tube anchors the head tube for improved handling in high-speed corners. Giant's FlexPoint rear suspension technology helps keep the rear wheel on the ground with 120mm of travel, ensuring confident control in rock gardens and technical sections. An air-adjustable SR Suntour Epixon R rear shock ensures excellent adjustability for a wider range of rider sizes and weights. The air-adjustable SR Suntour RS R suspension fork does suspension duty at the front end of the Embolden 2 with 120mm of travel, giving the bike a nimble feel while soaking up rough trails. It even features a lockout function. Need a short standover height? The Extra-Small Embolden 2 has a standover height of only 27.2"!

The Embolden 2 got upgrades from the previous season in the form of better shocks, but what about the rest of the bike? Shimano's 9-speed Alivio shifters operate a Shimano Deore rear derailleur and Alivio front derailleur, bringing long service life and an at-your-fingertips feel. The rear Deore derailleur is Shimano's latest Shadow+ style version that resists chain drop with a clever clutch, making rough rock gardens much less of a concern when shifting. Another upgrade is a new Praxis Cadet 22/36T crankset, adding to the Embolden 2's ability to help you climb challenging ascents. A 12-36T Shimano cassette offers a wide gearing range for roller-coaster terrain. Giant's tubeless-ready alloy XCT 27.5 wheels are shod with meaty 2.4" tubeless Maxxis Ardent tires for excellent grip, even in messy or crumbling conditions. Helping to reign in speed is the job of Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes boasting impressive stopping power, rain or shine. A Giant Connect Trail alloy handlebar, remote-equipped Contact Switch dropper post and Liv Contact saddle complete this adventure-ready trail machine.
