The "gravel-grinder" crowd may be on to something... A bike that can handle pavement, gravel and rough surfaces well? A bike that has a more comfortable geometry and boasts stable handling? Maybe more people would like to try one out!

The AnyRoad 1 is designed around a better-fitting, stable-handling geometry. The tall head tube allows an easier fit for a wider range of riders and rider flexibilities. A slacker geometry also offers stable handling over rough roads and gravel; perfect for paved paths that suddenly aren't. The AnyRoad 1's hydroformed ALUXX-grade aluminum frame is shaped for improved ride quality while still keeping weight low. The tall head tube is also tapered, improving steering feel in fast turns and descents. Giant's Composite carbon fiber fork soaks up fatiguing vibration while reducing weight further. The AnyRoad 1's Composite D-Fuse seatpost has an ingenious shape that offers better vertical compliance than a classic round seatpost, taking the edge off potholes, railway crossings and bad pavement transitions. Mounts for fenders and water bottle cages add to the AnyRoad 1's versatility.

Shimano's redesigned 10-speed Tiagra components are found throughout the AnyRoad 1, including the adjustable-reach levers, both derailleurs, lighter 50/34T Tiagra compact crankset, and a wide-ratio 11-34T Tiagra cassette. TRP's Spyre C disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, rain or shine. Additional bar-top brake levers allow the rider to sit more upright in traffic, offering better visibility. Giant also added their SX-2 Disc-specific wheels and 32mm multi-surface tires for a smooth feel and easy acceleration. An ergo-shaped alloy road handlebar and Giant Contact Neutral saddle complete the cockpit of this adventure-ready (or commuter-ready) machine.
