Giant’s Avail Composite line of women’s bicycles are what so many competitors try to build, but frequently fall short. The fit and ride quality is refined over hundreds of prototypes for riders and racers, while using Giant’s own Composite carbon fiber for consistent quality control. The upright fit and tailored geometry of the Avail Composite frame produces a better fit for a wider range of female riders and flexibilities. The tapered head tube anchors the full-carbon fork for precise handling on twisty descents, while the press-fit PowerCore bottom bracket ensures that no pedaling energy is wasted due to a rubbery frame. The seat tube even features a cut-out for the rear wheel, keeping it tucked in from the wind.
The Avail Composite 1 is equipped with Shimano’s latest 11-speed Ultegra components for lighter weight, longer service life and easier operation. The 50/34T Ultegra crankset, derailleurs, adjustable-reach shifters, chain and 11-28T cassette all work together for ultra-smooth shifting, even while under hard pedaling loads while charging uphill. Giant’s own P-R2 alloy wheels are wrapped with 25mm Deflect 3 road tires for a smooth ride and light weight. The Avail Composite 1’s Liv/Giant saddle sits atop a Vector carbon fiber Composite aero-style seatpost, while an alloy Connect handlebar and stem complete the cockpit of this value-packed performance machine.
