CycleOps made the original Fluid trainer to great acclaim, making it a favorite among competitive athletes, age-groupers, enthusiasts and beginners. Now they've raised the bar with the JetFluid Pro.
The original CycleOps Fluid trainer used a set of paddles spinning in a viscous fluid to create resistance. The JetFluid Pro moves more fluid at a given speed, adding resistance for harder efforts. Real-world resistance levels are easy to achieve, keeping any rider feeling "in the zone". The fluid itself can heat over the course of a workout, making it less resistant, so the geniuses at CycleOps added a cooling duct to blast the casing with air as the flywheel and resistance unit spin. Brilliant! Intervals shouldn't get easier during a 1 hour session, and the JetFluid Pro makes sure you get the most out of your workouts. The wide folding legs of the JetFluid Pro keep the bike and rider stable, and make the unit easy to transport. A leveling feature keeps the JetFluid Pro stable on uneven basement floors. Small wheels (650c) and large wheels (29'ers!) can be used in the JetFluid Pro, adding versatility for race-day, on-site warmups. An included steel skewer helps hold the bike solidly, while the skewer clamp is a one-hand operation.
The CycleOps JetFluid Pro trainer has a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects.
