Quick Overview

This might be the most powerful tail light you ever need

Details

The Bontrager Flare R sets a new standard for visibility when riding during the daytime. That's right, the daytime...

The Bontrager Flare R has a light output of up to 65 lumens. There are plenty of headlights that can't brag about that! Not bad for only 35 grams. With balanced optics and a jumpy flash pattern, the Flare R can be seen up to 2 kilometers away during the day. With drivers distracted by cell phones, car stereos and passengers, a cyclist needs a powerful light to attract a driver's attention soon enough for them to realize they aren't alone on the road. The 3 flash and two steady patterns lets the rider choose the right output for their immediate lighting conditions. With flashing side marker lights, the Flare R has a 270 degree field of visibility, getting drivers to notice them at intersections and crossroads much better than regular tail lights. With a battery save mode, the Flare R can keep lit when only 5% of the charge remains. There's even a battery charge indicator light to prevent surprises before venturing out. The Quick connect bracket is tool-free and uses an elastomer strap that stretches to fit nearly any seatpost diameter.

The Flare R comes with a Quick connect bracket and a micro USB charging cable.

With reviews coming in from several websites, the verdict is in: The Flare R might be one of the best tail lights made today!
