Quick Overview

When a young rider outgrows their BMX bike, there's a better machine for them...

Details

Size: 24" wheel

Color: Charcoal

The Trek Superfly 24 comes from the desire of all young riders to not be held back by their old bikes. Bikes that don't fit. Bikes that don't handle well. Bikes that are just too heavy.

The Superfly 24 isn't just a bike for budding racers. It helps young riders develop the skills to be better cyclists by getting out of the way and letting them ride longer and with confidence. A light bicycle brings freedom from clumsy machinery, and the Superfly 24 tips the scale at only 25 lbs. An Alpha Silver aluminum frame is a lightweight "backbone" that the Superfly 24 is built around. The SR Suntour XCT suspension fork is built with young riders -and low rider weights- in mind, and boasts 50mm of suspension travel to take the edge off rough trails. There's even a lockout function, too! 7-speed Shimano fingertip shifters operate front and rear Shimano derailleurs, making every gear change quick and easy. A Suntour XCT JR triple crankset brings a wide gearing range for roller-coaster trails. With lightweight alloy wheels and 24x1.85" knobby XR1 tires, the Superfly 24 is ready for gravel trails, dusty singletrack and backyard mud. Even the handlebar, grips and saddle are sized to fit little riders better.
