The Domane 6.2 has been bicycle that the rest of industry has been chasing, and now Trek has raised the bar out of reach. Welcome to the Domane 6.2 Disc!

Trek's commitment to their Factory Racing Team is also a commitment to their customers. Improving their most cobblestone-ready bike also makes the customer's Domane work even better. And now with Shimano's latest hydraulic road disc brakes, the Domane can handle anything that nature (and poorly-maintained roads) can throw at it. The Domane's 600 Series OCLV carbon fiber is a perfect place to begin when designing a pave-beating endurance machine. With custom carbon layups, the Domane's Power Transfer Construction yields incredible torsional frame strength. Even uphill, out-of-the-saddle sprints don't faze the Domane. A BB90 press-fit bottom bracket and tapered E2 head tube anchor the shaped down tube at both ends, producing flex-free power delivery. The all-carbon IsoSpeed fork features a clever rake for soaking up broken pavement as well. In addition to the frame shaping, the Domane's 142x12 Closed Convert rear dropouts and 15mm thru-axle fork add reinforcement to the frame and drivetrain, removing every last bit of energy-robbing flex. An aperture for an ANT+ DuoTrap speed/cadence sensor (sold separately) in the left chainstay and vanishing fender mounts add to the Domane's versatility. There's even an integrated 3S chain keeper to prevent chain drop. The Endurance Geometry of the Domane provides a more upright fit for a wider range of riders and rider flexibilities.

The Domane's hydraulic Shimano RS685 disc brakes and dual-control levers are the stars of the component list, but Trek continued to add Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra components throughout the bike. Both derailleurs, a compact 50/34T Ultegra crankset, 11-28T Ultegra cassette and chain add durability and a massive gearing range for challenging hills. Disc-specific Bontrager Affinity Comp wheels are tubeless-ready, and are wrapped with 25mm Bontrager R3 hard-Case Lite tires to boast bags of grip. A Bontrager Paradigm Race Lite saddle sits atop a no-cut Ride Tuned seat mast, while a Race Lite IsoZone road handlebar completes the cockpit of this outstanding machine.
